BOTOX®COSMETIC
Botox is a brand of neuromodulator. It has become a popular umbrella term for all of the neuromodulators, there are other neuromodulators on the market that contain different formulations of the same main ingredient. These newer formulations may provide improved results and are becoming increasingly popular for their increased longevity.
Dysport
Dysport is a neuromodulator that can be used to reduce or eliminate lines and wrinkles using Botulinum Toxin Type A like Botox. Dysport kicks in a little quicker and lasts a little longer then Botox. Therefore, Dysport has a higher patient satisfaction rates.
Xeomin
Xeomin kicks in the quickest. With Botox and Dysport you may become resistant to the associated protein complexes that surround the active ingredient. We, therefore, try to encourage our patients to cycle their neuromodulators and have then do Xeomin every third treatment with us to prevent resistance. Xeomin is the purest of all the neuromodulators on the market.
How does Botox Work?
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are medications injected into the muscle to cause relaxation and reduce wrinkles caused by muscle movement. We strategically choose dosing based on your muscle mass and strength in the area of concern.

Botox has been clinically trialed and studied more than Ibuprofen and proven to be safe and effective. We always say the number one side effect is that once you get it you will not want to go without it.

how long Does Botox & Dysport last?
Botox, Dysport and Xeomin last on average 3 to 4 months. The way that your "tox" (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin) lasts depends on a few things. Longevity depends on your dose, the area being injected, your metabolism and the type of neurotoxin used. Your Botox dose directly corrolates to the duration. The more units that are injected the longer your Botox/Dysport treatment will last. Your provider will take into account your muscle strength, your goals and desired longevity to customize your Botox treatment.

3 Days Before Your Treatment (to prevent bruising): START TAKING ZINC. Zinc affects the way that your Tox binds and affects your results. For Optimal Results start taking zinc 3 days before your treatment and 7 days after.
48 Hours Before Your Treatment:
AVOID coffee, alcoholic beverages
AVOID .blood thinning over-the-counter medications (Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve)
AVOID herbal supplements (Garlic, Vitamin E, Turmeric, Ginko Biloba, St. John’s Wart, and Omega-3 Fish Oil.)
COME IN WITH A CLEAN FACE
Please take off your make-up before you come in to your appointment.
Botox/Dysport
Post-Treatment
DO NOT apply makeup for 4 hours
DO NOT rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours after your treatment. Avoid facials or saunas for 24 hours after your treatment.
AVOID strenuous exercise for 24 hours post treatment.
AVOID lying flat or bending all the way over for 4 hours after your treatment.
While you will start to notice results in 4-6 days, the full results of your treatments takes the full 14 days.

We guarentee your results and offer complimentary touch-ups. (Must be done day 14-21)
While you are getting Botox your muscles are always changing.
If you require a touch up please contact us on day 14-16 to schedule your touch up appointment or you can schedule your follow up appointment online.
In order for your touch up units to be complimentary your follow up appointment must be between day 14 and 21. the way over for 4 hours after your treatment.
